Venue Hire
The Alton Assembly Rooms are available for both private and commercial hire.
We offer very competitive rates and even one especially designed for local and charity groups.
Main Hall
Complete with sprung dance floor, stage, lighting/spotlighting, projection/control room, display screens, fully accessible sound system, Auracast assisted listening system, food preparation area.
The floor space measures 16 meters by 10 meters and is well-suited to holding dances, drama & music performances, wedding receptions, exhibitions, conferences and larghe meetings.
It has a seated capacity of 208 in theatre style or 150 when seated around the banquet tables. Projector, flipchart, tables and chairs available on request – all included in hire
Lower Room
Carpeted throughout and measuring 8 meters by 6.5 meters, and fitted with hot water coffee / bar area and fridge, large keyboard, this room is suited to many uses including small exhibitions, meetings and training days.
Large screen available for use fitted to wall for instant display. Data projector (if required), flipchart, bluetooth speaker, tables and chairs available on request – all included in hire.
Upper Room
Laminated floor area measuring 8 meters by 6.5 meters. This bright and airy room is suited to many uses including dance classes, yoga, meetings and training days.
Screen fitted to wall for instant display, with fridge and piano also available in room. Data projector (if required), flipchart, bluetooth speaker, freestanding light, tables and chairs available on request – all included in hire.
Hot water and refreshments can be delivered to the room as requested.
Small Meeting Room
Small and quiet meeting room suitable for 1-2-1 meetings, interviews, small group work, relaxation / sensory activities and counselling.
